Technology and Politics to
Converge at Piryx Sites
Politics
and technology company, Piryx, has launched its Piryx.com vision site and
Realpolitix.com, a non-partisan political blog about the technological
revolution occurring in politics. The company aims to equip the electorate
to experience the election process. The company founders aspire for saving
politics, as they’ve managed local campaigns and experienced the red tape
of the process, they say.
Piryx
hopes that Realpolitix.com will attract national appeal, providing
emerging insight into real world political events, the evolution of
technology in the political process, and a non-partisan approach to
current political news.
It’s also
launching the Piryx.com vision site that is a community effort to allow
members to stay current on Piryx news and events, provide blog content,
and be a part of the technological movement in politics.
The
company says it’ll be launching additional solutions throughout the
presidential campaign season including an automated filing system for
campaign compliancy and reporting in early fall.
"Our
mission is to ignite much needed involvement among the voter community,
while allowing candidates at all levels to have the tools and information
they need for an equal chance on election day," said Tom Serres, CEO and
founder of Piryx. "For most people, politics has been tainted. If we can
help make politics accessible and exciting again, we've done our job."
"We want
to provide average politicians on all levels -- local, state, and national
-- to have the same technological tools and know-how to run a campaign
like presidential candidate Barack Obama," said Naveed Lalani, interactive
officer at Piryx. "We know and understand the tools needed to reach and
appeal to the new generation of voters and want to enable any candidate to
afford and implement them."
Piryx
slogan: Empowering democracy.
